The Queensland Parliament passed the Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) Bill 2021 on 16th September 2021.
The law takes effect on the 1 January 2023.[1]
In NSW, Alex Greenwich (Independent Member of Sydney) plan to introduce another VAD bill when state parliament resumes.

Megan Best in the Zoom Life conference (26/09/2021):
“Mr Alex Greenwich has announced his intention to present a euthanasia bill to the NSW parliament next month. This bill has few safeguards, and would allow a person 18 years or over to be killed without their family, their GP or their specialists even knowing about it. The decisions about how long they have to live and what treatment options they have can be made by doctors who aren’t specialists in their disease. They don’t have to be reviewed by a mental health expert to check whether they are depressed”
As always, remember to contact your Federal and State MPs (State in particular) to voice your concerns.
More resources/info about euthanasia coming soon.
